Discipleship Training Materials

The Call To Discipleship

“Where Scripture is more than just mere words”

Now that same day two of them (disciples) were going to a village called Emmaus…As they talked and discussed these things with each other, Jesus himself came up and walked along with them… He asked them, “What are you discussing together as you walk along?” They stood still, their faces downcast…“About Jesus of Nazareth…who was handed over to be crucified. He said to them, “How foolish you are, and how slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken! Did not the Christ have to suffer these things and then enter his glory?”…beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself.   Luke 24:13-27 NIV

Jesus shows the importance of one-on-one discipleship in this passage. While many discipleship training materials have been written, most of them focus on teaching new information. To see real effective change in a Christian life, you must first help them expose their misconceptions and the source it came from.  Once this is done they can replace it with sound biblical truths from Scripture that will give them a strong foundation on which to build.

Our discipleship training materials contain teacher aids to help them better facilitate their classes, combined with simple step by step teaching materials that all believers can understand no matter their level of education. There are two main aids built in to help the teacher.  First the teacher and student versions are the same except the teacher has additional notes to assist them in leading the class. When a teacher or student is speaking about a certain point both will see the same information.  Second, a DVD is provided highlighting key areas in each lesson to guide the teacher in identifying blind spots for the students to expose their misconceptions.

This Believer’s Foundational Study covers important foundational biblical truths in God’s Word.  Research has shown denominations agree on 11 of the 13 lessons.  At the same time we respect the differences in opinion regarding a few key issues, so we have created both a Pentecostal and Traditional version for those two lessons.

We will be providing additional discipleship training materials for churches in the future. We hope you will allow us the privilege to join with your ministry to help further the growth of believers for the kingdom of God.
